Leeds Castle has got big car parks and lots of lovely forest walks. In fact, you don’t have to go in the castle at all in order to have a great day out.Â
There is a big lake, a maze, a golf course, lots of peacocks and swans, there is also a large aviary with many birds including a Toucan.
We spent all day there and want to go back again. We did go in the castle and it was lovely.Â
The Leeds Castle building is actually in the middle of the lake and we took lots of photos to remember the day.
Leeds Castle is a great place to run around as there is a lot of open space. But you need to remember your coat as it can get a little windy.
There are a lot of flowers growing in the grounds and these look lovely in the spring.
Adam nearly fell in the lake, we saved him just in time!
One of the best bits of the day was finding our way to the middle of the maze.
The maze is right at the end of the grounds and it took us a long time to get to the middle!
There is a grotto in the middle and you can see right through the roof to the little cave underneath.Â
There were people standing in the middle shouting to their friends, they were giving them directions to the middle. We followed them in the end!
A really good day out and it is hard to see how it could be any better! We shall definitely go there again!
